Lithuania has borders with four countries: two of them – Poland and Latvia – belong to the European Union, while Belorussia and Russia (the Kaliningrad region) don’t.
One tourist from an EU nation can teke: 10 liters of strong alcoholic drinks, 90 liters of dry winw, 20 liters of fortified wine, 110 liters of beer, 1 kg of tobacco, 400 small and 200 large cigars, 4 cartons of cigarettes.
Travelers passing through two borders with a crossing point with the Belorusian Republic, can bring in products if their combined worth is not more than 600 Litas per person. Individuals under 15 years of age cannot bring in more than 310 Litas. From May 1, 2004, a traveler (not younger than 17 years) arriving into the Lithuanian Republic from three countries, can bring in without penalty:
Tobacco products:
cigarettes 200 units or
cigarillos 100 units or
cigars 50 units or
smoking tobacco 250 grams
Alcoholic drinks:
distilled and alcoholic drinks, whose alcohol concentration is greater then 22% of volume 1 liter or
distilled alcoholic drinks, wine or alcohol based, whose alcohol concentration is not greater than 22% of volume 2 liters or
sparkling wines 2 liters or
fortified wines 2 liters or
non-sparkling wines 2 liters
Perfumes and eau de toilette:
perfumes 50 grams and
eau de toilette 0.25 liters
